Answers before you ask.

Everything customers ask us before sending in a slide. Can't find what you need? Reach out directly and we'll get back to you.

Once your order is confirmed, we'll email you shipping instructions and next steps. Package your slide securely and send it our way — we'll walk you through exactly how, and full details will be posted on our Shipping page soon.

Not if you're in the San Diego area. You can choose local drop-off or pickup on the Custom Order form, and we'll coordinate a time by email — no shipping cost or transit time either way.

Most slides are engraved and shipped back within 3–5 business days of arriving at our shop. Complex custom artwork may take longer — we'll give you an estimate with your quote.

No. The laser marks the metal itself rather than sitting on top of a coating, so it won't rub off, scratch away, or fade with normal holster and handling wear.

Yes. Upload your own design on the Custom Order page. We'll review it for feasibility on your slide's size and shape before confirming your quote.

Yes — laser engraving works well on Cerakote finishes, cutting through the coating to reveal the metal beneath for high contrast. Let us know your finish when you order.

Yes, stainless and bare metal slides are engraved regularly and typically produce a bright, high-contrast mark straight off the laser.

We accept PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, and AI files. If you upload a PNG or JPG, we convert it to a vector (SVG) file in-house before engraving — that conversion is what actually gets cut into the metal.

You can upload it, but color won't show up in the final engraving — laser engraving only produces a single-tone mark on the metal, not color, at least for now. For the best, most predictable result, upload artwork in black, white, and grey only. High-contrast, dark designs convert to vector cleanly and are far less likely to lose detail or come out muddy — busy full-color images are the most likely to need rework or come back looking different than you expected.

We currently focus on Glock slides across most generations, with support for Sig, Springfield, Smith & Wesson, Canik, CZ, and 1911 platforms. If you're unsure your model is supported, ask before ordering.

Browse the Design Gallery for inspiration, or describe the general look you're after on the Custom Order form — we're glad to help refine an idea before you commit to a quote.

Depth is tuned to your design and slide finish — deep enough to be permanent and tactile, without compromising the structural integrity of the slide.
